The skill each zone needs before your line stops coming up empty, from the Classic zone table. Fish where your skill is at or just above the number and move on as it climbs.

Reaching 150, 225 and 300 for the first time on your account each awards a Legacy point, and the Legacy perk Working Overtime adds up to 20% to your chance of a skill-up. The counts here leave it out.

How high can Fishing go in the WoW Forever beta?
The beta caps characters at level 20, which allows Expert training (skill 225). Artisan (300) needs character level 35.
