Battle mage and Comprehension
Make Coldflame Saber and choose scrolls for each Comprehension skill tier.
Coldflame Saber
- Decipher untranslated scrolls until you obtain Scroll of the Saber. Its exact source tier is not confirmed.
- Loot Blade of Silverlaine from Baron Silverlaine in Shadowfang Keep on the same mage. Both the blade and the scroll bind on pickup.
- Use the scroll on the blade to create Coldflame Saber. The sword requires level 21.
Raise Comprehension
Switch to the next scroll tier before the current tier turns grey. Scrolls can produce buffs, familiars or weapon effects. The table gives the skill required to read each tier and when it stops granting skill.
Scroll effects
The inventory below lists 25 translated scrolls. Its tier groups follow the listed client levels; they do not guarantee which untranslated scroll will produce each result. The server controls the result of deciphering a scroll.
Scroll of Wit
This scroll transforms Witchblade from Darkmaster Gandling in Scholomance. The resulting weapon is not yet identified; do not buy it expecting known stats.
