Scarlet Banner
Collect four grave echoes and solve the Scarlet Monastery Library puzzle to unlock a campsite banner.
Collect the four echoes
- Arathi Highlands: collect Arathi Echo at 62.2, 54.5 in the graves north of Go'Shek Farm, behind the barn.
- Dustwallow Marsh: collect Theramore Echo at 63.7, 42.4 in the roadside graveyard north of Theramore, before the bridge.
- Swamp of Sorrows: collect Swamp Echo at 16.8, 53.8 near Splinterspear Junction, where the Deadwind Pass road enters the swamp. Look for a wooden marker against a tree.
- Scarlet Monastery Graveyard: collect Graveyard Echo in the back-left Forlorn Cloister, beside the dead tree and mausoleum wall. Look for the grave with chevron carvings.
Reach the Gallery of Treasures
In the Library, defeat Houndmaster Loksey and continue toward Arcanist Doan. After the left-hand alcove, turn right into the Gallery of Treasures. The four busts stand in wall niches. Count them from the entrance on Loksey's side. Stand within five yards of each bust and check the named buff before using an echo.
Use the echoes in this order
- Use Swamp Echo on bust 1, the warrior. Your buff should read Warrior's Lament.
- Use Arathi Echo on bust 3, the mage. Your buff should read Mage's Lament.
- Use Theramore Echo on bust 4, the paladin. Your buff should read Paladin's Lament.
- Use Graveyard Echo on bust 2, the priest. Your buff should read Priest's Lament.
- Loot the banner that appears in the center of the gallery. Only one player can take it, so agree who gets it before starting.
Plan the trip
There is no quest or class restriction. Each group member collects their own echoes, in any order. Save the Monastery for last so you can complete both wings together. The outdoor graves are in zones above the beta cap; travel with a group and avoid Theramore guards as Horde.
Raise the banner
The banner is a bound, unique campsite decoration with no stat bonus. Stand outdoors, out of combat and near a campfire; druids must leave their form. It takes 10 seconds to place, lasts 15 minutes and stays in your bags. It uses one campfire slot and starts the shared one-hour camp-object cooldown. A Basic Campfire Kit has three slots and a Journeyman kit has five, so leave space and cooldown access for useful camp buffs.
