Transmog
Where to change your appearance, how collections work and Forever's restrictions.
Where to go
Visit Fyrenz Vishonar in Stormwind or Mon'ye in Orgrimmar. The first outfit change per character is free. Later changes cost by slot and appearance; two outfit slots are free.
Restrictions
Armor appearances must match the armor type. Before level 60, the appearance item cannot be a higher item level than the equipped item. PvP rank requirements still apply. Transmog changes appearance only, so set bonuses and snake form need the actual gear.
Collecting appearances
Grey and white appearances unlock on looting. Other green and blue items generally need to bind to you. Eligible group members share dungeon green and blue bind-on-pickup appearances; raid epics go to the recipient. Collections are shared across your characters.
Classic appearance
Choose Classic at first login or toggle transmog at the NPC to hide other players' appearances. You can also hide equipment slots and change weapon sheathing in the transmog window.
