The knockback was removed
The gun no longer has its knockback Use effect following the October 6 hotfix, confirmed in the October 8 development notes. It remains a level-30 ranged weapon with 35-66 damage, a 2.80 speed, 3 Stamina and 9 Attack Power, sold by Gezzy Gunkgear at Honored alongside Souvenir Sea Shell. Older clips show the removed effect.
Reach Honored
A character starting at 500 Neutral needs 8,500 more Booty Bay reputation for Honored. Complete the listed Booty Bay quests, then the Ratchet quests you missed while leveling. Ratchet, Booty Bay, Gadgetzan and Everlook share half their reputation gains with the other cartel towns. Several Booty Bay quests involve level 34-44 enemies or elites, so bring a group at level 30.
Repeatable reputation
Southsea pirates south of Ratchet, around 63.0, 46.5 in the Barrens, are level 12-15. Classic values give 5 Ratchet reputation per pirate and roughly half that to Booty Bay. Venture Co. goblins around 40.0, 17.0 in northern Stranglethorn are level 34-38 and give 5 Booty Bay reputation each. These are Classic reputation estimates; beta payouts and the kills you need can differ. Finish available quests before choosing a farming spot.
Find the quartermasters
Gezzy Gunkgear stands on the Booty Bay docks at 28.2, 74.8 and sells level-30 gear. Winklespark is in Ratchet at 62.5, 37.5 with level-20 gear. Each sells three Friendly rewards, two Honored rewards and a cosmetic item at Revered. The table includes their listed prices; your vendor discount can change the amount paid.
